Best Wii Game?

We're wanting to know your views for our upcomming Wii article. The question on "Which is the best Wii Game?"
This is the 1st out of 3 stages for this article. So to start off, a little research.

Post your favourite Wii Game (preferably in clear view, not in with a large block of text) and the results will be gathered in the index bellow. The top 10 voted Wii games will be put forward for a poll, you'll then be asked to vote on which you think is the best (stage 2 we're at now) and then the final result will be posted on the main site. Super Mario Galaxy. A great game that anyone can pick up and play and does what a game should do : provides fun and satisfaction.

I dissagree. This game is one of the best but there is no hiding that it was slightly over-rated. I think a game can only qualify as the 'best' if it features an online mode. Which is why i currently think the best game on Wii is actually Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. Although this title will soon be taken by the highly anticipated Mario Kart Wii. Wink

Hmmm. One of the best games I have played is Super Smash Bros Brawl. Also I like Galaxy (if not a bit to easy) and I cant forget my classic Lylat Wars

ATM I think MOH: H2 is the best game on Wii.
Though overall I'd have to say Zelda: TP takes it on the fact it was a bit more deep and emotional than the likes of Super Mario Galaxy.
Can't wait for Mario Kart: Wii tommorow, though I'm not very good haha.
I don't think SSBB will be as good as everyone os anticipating, as thanks to different forums I now know all the characters and things to do etc.
Also I played SSBM the other day and I sucked. So I think I'm going to end up going back to MOH: H2 haha.

Well, yeah MKW is a great game, though the online is a bit confusing. You're able to beat people who place higher than you points wise, by the way you play, which annoys me. Surely if you have a degree of skill you can come 1st/2nd anyway :S

i think MOH isnt as good as people make it out to be as you can see they could have made it a lot better considering recent other games such as COD 4 have customizable weapons and perks which enhance the single player and online experience the new MOH isnt realy up to scratch im sorry ive reffered to a completely different console but these are things that could have easily enhanced gameplay

also my favourite game is MKWII as the additions of bikes new charachters and different controller compatibilitys coupled with single multiplaye and online play make this an enjoyable game for any type of gamer

Unfortunately we have no CoD4 on the Wii. MoH will just have to suffice! As you've said though, it really cannot compare to Call of Duty, however the controls are far more intuitive and the gameplay is extremely addictive! Once you get into it that is. Smile

the wii does have a very good and very original controll system
im just saying that moh has a lack of choice in the game and doesnt have the classic splitscreen which usually every fps game has

That is disappointing, yes. It would be great to take a friend online! Another let down in the lack of voice chat, although Skype is a small substitution!

Thats true, but lets be honest, with every Wii game there has to be some subsitutions. The 360 and PS3 have huge memory capacities, whereas the Wii only has...512MB? Which is terrible for the current gen.

I think MOH makes the most of what it can with such restrictions, and obviously as Hodgie said theres immaculate controls; and once you get past the sub-par graphics you have a really good game.

its true that you must make some substitutions for the wii versus the other leading consoles but im just saying that coop play was introduced to games well before wii 360 or ps3 came out and that its usually this kinda game that uses this feature

I suppose you have a fair point, but taking the substitutions into mind, wouldn't you prefer 32-player online deathmatches than splitscreen?

i would prefer to play both at the same time its like mario kart wii has the coop feature online and they only dont have as many competitors because it would ruin the game

thats what i was trying to say 32 players is too much for mario kart but theyve managed to introduce coop and coop online play without a hitch

Yeah because the maximum is 12 players. In this case it depends on how many players is best suited to the game.

Whilst i do agree that maybe it was slightly overratedit is still one of the most enjoyable and beautiful games on the wii. In my opinion Medal of Honor, whilst being under-rated, is not the best game for the wii. The online is admittedly great, but the single player is, to be frank, bland and unoriginal. Whilst you have a point that a game should probably have wi-fi to be the best it should also have a captivating and enjoyable single player mode.

Now that i've bought Mario Kart i think that it may be the best wii game at the moment. The local multiplayer, online and single player are all fantastic.

Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure

Criminally under-appreciated and overlooked in favour of over-rated things like The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy. Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure is an incomparable gaming experience, only slightly let down by a lack of awesome storyline. The visual style is an enjoyable blend of The Wind Waker's charm and Twilight Princess' tone, the soundtrack is decent and the characters are incomparably awesome. It is very challenging and humourous, moreso than any other Wii game I've played so far. The controls are really awesome and show what the Wii is capable of, with only WarioWare Smooth Moves defeating it at the moment when it comes to controls.

I completely disagree zorc. Yes the visuals looked good but the whole point and click puzzle genre just doesnt seem to work with everyone in mind. At one point I would have said mario and sonic at the olympic games but now I think I would have to change my mind and probably go for one of these 3. Super Smash Bros Brawl. Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Mario Kart Wii
