Attacking From Midfield: Set Play 1

Strikers Move into box while watching offside line, and making sure you loose your marker in the box.

Midfielders try to get the ball onto the wings for a cross into the box, if so then Centre Midfielders go into the box to deliver a header or volley.

Defenders approach slowly for support, if in danger of counter Centre Backs take over Midfielding position, and the left and right backs cover defense in the middle.

Goalkeeper should watch if the defenders win the ball and pass back to the keeper for a long clearance.

Blue = Midfielder

Red = Striker

Pink/Purple Arrows = Movement on and off ball

The Offside Trap: Set Piece: Defending

The freekick will come in as a cross, Defenders run forward as a line and Midfielders Run to fill in the defenders space, incase of mistake. Goalkeeper stand ground.

Strikers make the penetrative run through the wings ready to receive a long ball, or a set attack from the midfielders.
