it is just the general graphics quality that does it but it kicks ass lol

i just like the general xbox live community which i beleive is the best out of the online communities on consoles out at the moment my opinion is that the PS3 will surpass the xbox360 in graphics etc. but the online communitys communication style such as private chat and MSN Messenger is unmatched as of yet. i also think that the wii could much improve its online community by introducing a voice chat feature using some form of microphone etc. as this will enable teams to speak to each other and discuss tactics etc. enhancing enjoyment of clan wars etc. as the whole clan could speak

Thats a good point, and while I think the Xbox360 is great I think the PS3 will eventually beat it in terms of sales and companies who choose to develop for PS3 rather than the 360, especially because it has better graphics (can't be bothered putting figures up, just trust me haha) and also that blu-ray has now won the technology war against HD-DVD.
People are saying the PS3 is bad also because it doesnt have many exclusive games, which is true, but again I'm saying give it time and it will be better. If you remember the days of the PS2 things were looking dim until it suddenly picked up.
I'm looking into buying a PS3, maybe if an 80gb MGS4 bundle comes out. Heres to hoping, I'm pretty sure its confirmed. Though I'm really happy with my Wii as it is.

good point but it will take a while for the ps3 to start gaining all the exclusive titles and i think prices are going to hae to drop for sales to rise
as for blu-ray i dont want to start an argument but i think its a waste of time and money for so little difference from HD

Well technology is always getting better, and I think since HD-DVD has lost the war it'll soon be forgotten about. So basically the technology change is from DVD to Blu-ray.
There are examples I can think of just like this, where 2 companies have a sales competition until someone wins and the other gives up.
I think the Xbox360 is so successful because it came out 13 months before any of the other current-gen consoles. If the PS3 came out at the same time then it would be winning currently.
BTW I'm not trying to make an argument about this im just...helping the conversation flow!

before the ps3 takes over which even an avid xbox fan like me will admit i think xbox will have the lead for quite a while i think the rival companys will be into designing their next next-gen consoles by the time that happens

My brothers got a 360 but will never let me go on it because its in his room. He wont let me go on it when he's out because he wants to supervise me on it (dunno why) and he wont let me go on it when he's in because when he is at home he's always in his room so basically its impossible to get to go on it. But yeah the games look great and the online play is lag free... from what I have seen anyway

I was considering purchasing an Xbox 360, but I realised that most of the games I really wanted for it which aren't already on the PlayStation 3 are either out or coming out on the PC. To be honest, the only games left which really entice me are Viva Pinata, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Perhaps Dead Rising and Naruto: Rise Of A Ninja, but they are less important to me.

I've been on Assassins Creed for a bit and I love it. I just want to be able to get more time on it so I might go on it for a fair bit tonight. My brother wants to get GTA4 and I might try and get a go on that to
